Do you drink enough?    Why is H20 important?



Water is one of the most vital substances on Earth. With out it we can not live.


Humans are composed of 60% water.


Why we need water?

  • Water helps us regulate our body temperature

  • It helps us transport nutrients round our body

  • Water lubricates our joints and tissues

  • We need water for certain vitamins and minerals to be absorbed

  • Water helps us remove waste and facilitate biochemical reactions

  • Lack of water (Dehydration), leads to health complications and in extreme cases, death


How to drink enough water...



Start the day with a glass of water


Add fruit to your water


Carry a water bottle around and sip regularly


Eat fruit and vegetables eg cucumber, lettuce as these also contain water
