Tips for keeping cool at night
Open your windows in the early morning to let cool air in
Shut your windows once the temperature outside rises and close your curtains
Open windows in the late evening when it cools down
Dont eat a heavy meal late in the evening
Have a cool shower before bed
Drinking a cup of tea can be refreshing
Run your wrists under a cold tap to lower your blood temperature
Place a cold flannel on your forehead, wrists or ankles
Use an icepack either in your bed 10 min before you go to bed ( wrap in a towel) or place it on your body
Use light weight bedding ( cotton or linen), try a cooling pillow ( or gel insert)
Briefly pop your sheets / pillowcase in the freezer in a plastic bag to chill them for a few minutes before bed
Unplug charger and electronic devices as they emit heat
